The Planning Process

A clear path from your first conversation through completing your estate plan.

PHASE ONE

Before you’re a client

Contacting Jeffrey D. Hunt, PLLC, including by phone, email, or this website, does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is established only when the firm confirms representation in writing.

  1. 01

Share a little about what brings you in so Jeffrey and his team understand what you are looking for.

  2. 02

    Have an initial conversation

Jeffrey talks with you about your situation, answers initial questions, and helps determine whether the firm is a good fit for your needs.

  3. 03

    Agree on the scope

If it makes sense to move forward, Jeffrey and his team confirm the scope of the engagement and the next steps in writing.

PHASE TWO

Once you’ve engaged the firm

  1. 01

    Gather information

Jeffrey and his team guide you through the information needed to prepare your plan.

  2. 02

    Work through planning decisions

  3. 03

    Prepare your documents

Jeffrey and his team prepare the documents to reflect the planning decisions you have made.

  4. 04

    Review your plan

You review the plan with Jeffrey, ask questions, and make any needed refinements before the documents are finalized.

  5. 05

    Complete signing

Jeffrey and his team coordinate the signing process and help make sure the documents are completed with the appropriate formalities.

  6. 06

    Funding and follow-through

Where applicable, Jeffrey and his team help you understand the remaining steps, such as funding a trust, so the plan can be put into effect.
